Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect in the ‘strong-arm’ robbery of an elderly woman.
On the morning of April 9, 2016 a 73 year old female was boarding a bus in the area of E 9th and Montello streets in north Reno when an unidentified male grabbed onto a bag she was carrying. As the victim tried to hold on to the strap of the bag, the man pulled the bag which caused her face to strike the left door of the bus. After hitting the door of the bus, the female could no longer hold on to the bag, and the man ran off.
The unknown male suspect is described as having a dark completion in his 20’s, approximately 6’ tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and tan pants.
