Secret Witness is offering a reward in an increased amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of a female pedestrian in the area of Brierley Way and Vista Blvd. Sparks, NV.
On September 27, 2023 at 9:41 p.m., Sparks Police, Fire and REMSA were called regarding a pedestrian in the roadway in the above area. Upon arrival, a female was located in roadway of the 1800 Block of Brierley Way with life threatening injuries. REMSA personnel provided medical treatment on scene prior to transporting her to a local hospital. The initial investigation has revealed a vehicle struck the female and left the scene prior to police or medical arrival. The Major Accident Investigation Team arrived on scene and took over the investigation. The investigation is still ongoing. The female victim is in critical condition at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The suspect and vehicle involved are still outstanding.
Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Update: The vehicle is a 2002-2005 Saturn Vue that is silver or lighter in color. The vehicle should have driver side front end damage. Sparks is asking for the public’s help to try and locate this vehicle.
