Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a female victim in the area of Sun Valley Community Park Sun Valley, NV.
On February 16, 2011 at approximately 2:00 p.m. the victim stated she observed a Hispanic male sitting on a park bench near the outdoor pool as she walked by. The victim continued walking through the park towards Sidehill Drive and the baseball field when she was attacked by the suspect she saw on the bench. The suspect forced her to the ground near a temporary restroom and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, 20 to 30 years old wearing a black “beanie” cap, black “hoodie” sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
