Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the homicide of a male victim in the area of the 200 block of E. 4th St. Reno, NV.
On April 24, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers with the Reno Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of East 4th Street. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers, along with personnel from Reno Fire Department and REMSA, attempted life-saving measures; however, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. This was an isolated incident and there is no known ongoing threat to the public. The identification of the decedent will be released by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office after proper notifications have been made.
