Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of 500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of a pedestrian in the area of Plumb Lane and S. Virginia St. Reno, NV.
On Tuesday August 25, 2020 at about 5:10 a.m. Reno Fire, REMSA and Reno Police Officers responded to Arroyo and South Virginia St. on the report of a vehicle versus a subject on an electric scooter. Upon arrival they located an adult male who suffered a head injury in the street. The victim was transported to Renown Medical Center with a substantial but non-life threatening head injury. The vehicle involved in this crash did not stop to render aid, and fled the scene driving southbound on S. Virginia St. The vehicle is described as a dark colored (possibly green), older body style (1992-1996) Ford, single cab, long bed, F-Series pickup truck with a white utility box in the bed. (See attached surveillance photos) It is unknown if there was any damage to the vehicle. Investigators are looking for any information on the vehicle and driver who fled the scene.
Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
