Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery/carjacking of a 75 year old female victim in the area of 1100 Nugget Ave. Sparks, NV.
On July 6, 2017 at approximately 2:12 p.m. Sparks Police Department received a report of a carjacking at the above address. The 75 year old female victim had just parked her 2013 maroon Nissan Altima Nevada license 92F424 in a parking space when she was approached by the suspect who produced a handgun and demanded money and the car keys. The victim complied and noticed a child standing near the suspect. The suspect and child left the area north on Pyramid highway. The child and the suspect may have a relationship based on the interaction between the two. The suspect is described as a black male adult, 28 to 35 years old, approximately 6’ tall, thin build, thin mustache, wearing a dark blue shirt with a Dallas Cowboy’s emblem on the front and blue jeans. The child is described as a black female youth, approximately 8 years old, hair in pigtails, wearing a dark yellow dress.
Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
