Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with armed robbery with a shot fired at the Tamarack Junction Casino 13101 S. Virginia St. Reno, NV.
On July 12, 2017 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Officers responded to the above location on a report of an armed robbery with a shot fired. The suspect approached an employee working in the Sports Book and robbed them at gunpoint of an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was tackled by a patron and casino security. During the struggle a shot was fired allowing the suspect to escape. The bullet did not strike anyone, but the patron received a non-life threatening injury. The suspect fled in a waiting vehicle driven by a second suspect. The suspect is described as a black male adult wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants and something covering his mouth and nose. No description on the second suspect. The suspect vehicle is described as a green Ford Explorer with tinted windows and oxidized paint on the hood.
Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
