Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $250.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted for questioning relating to a series of vehicle burglaries in the Carson City and Douglas County areas.
On Sunday September 16, 2018 several vehicle burglaries were reported in various areas of Carson City. Credit cards belonging to victims were used that morning at Carson City and Douglas County businesses. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office also investigated several vehicle burglaries on Sunday morning. Investigators believe the vehicle burglaries in both counties are related. The first suspect is a male with visible tattoos on his arms. The male suspect used the victim’s credit card at a South Carson Street fast food restaurant. A female suspect was observed at a different fast food business on South Carson Street. The unidentified vehicle was observed on surveillance video parking next to a victim’s vehicle near the intersection of 5th Street and Carson Street Sunday morning. The vehicle appeared to have two occupants.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
