Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the vandalism of historic grave stones at the Hillside Cemetery Reno, NV.
Reno Police Department is investigating vandalism to several Historical grave stones at the Hillside Cemetery. Members of the Hillside Cemetery Preservation Foundation located at least 4 head stones that had been damaged overnight. The grave stones are said to be from the 1800’s and considered to be of historical value. It does not appear that the grave stones were specifically targeted at this time. An expert on historical monuments out of Virginia City will be contacted to assess the total damage. At this time the estimated damage is about $15,000 to $20,000.
Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect(s).
