Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the theft from an elderly male at the Rail City Casino Sparks, NV.
On October 29, 2016 at approximately 1:00 p.m. the 62-year-old male victim began speaking to the suspect expressing a need to retrieve medication from his vehicle. The suspect escorted the victim to his vehicle and forcibly took the medicine bottle from the victim and emptied the contents into his hand. The suspect returned to the casino while the victim followed pleading for his pain medication to be returned. Security attempted to escort the suspect outside the casino where police officers could meet with them but the suspect walked out the doors and continued to the area of 21st St. and Victorian Ave. where he made contact with the occupants of a white Nissan with Arizona plates. The suspect then fled on foot towards Reno. The victim suffers from a painful form of cancer and is on oxygen. The suspect is described only as a black male in his forties. Sparks Police Department has surveillance photos of the suspect.
