Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the stolen vehicle and fraudulent use of credit cards from a home in the Old Washoe Estates Reno, NV.
Deputies responded to a report of a stolen GMC Sierra from above area early Sunday morning April 19, 2020. During the investigation it was discovered the victim’s credit cards were used at the Walmart in northwest Reno and the Chevron station on South McCarran. Detectives were able to obtain surveillance photos of the man who used the stolen credit cards, and a possible suspect vehicle. During the investigation deputies also learned that eight additional vehicles were burglarized in the same Old Washoe Estates neighborhood. All of the vehicles were left unlocked.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
