Secret Witness is offering a cash reward (amount to be determined) for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of a suspect(s) wanted in connection with the passing of counterfeit currency in the Carson City and Reno, NV areas.
On January 3rd, 2016, at approximately 8:20 p.m. an unknown black male, wearing eyeglasses, an orange sweatshirt, orange hat and dark pants passed three (3) counterfeit $100 Federal Reserve Notes (FRNs) at the Walmart Store 3770 US Hwy 395 Carson City, NV.
That same day, an additional twelve (12) counterfeit $100 FRNs were also passed at Carson City area retail stores. All the counterfeit $100 FRNs listed above are of the same classification, indicating the likelihood of same printer/passer.
United States Secret Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s).
