Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted for kidnapping and sexual assault of a female victim in Lassen County, CA.
Thirty-nine-year old MAITLAND CARPENTER is a suspect in the kidnapping and sexual assaulting a Susanville CA woman which occurred more than a week ago. Carpenter is considered armed and dangerous. He has made comments in the past that he’s not afraid to kill someone to avoid going back to prison. He is considered a career criminal with multiple violent chargers pending. He is known to frequent the Reno/Sparks areas as well as throughout northern California. Carpenter is described as a white male adult, 6’1″and 220 pounds with extensive tattoos on his neck and elsewhere on his body, Carpenter is thought to be armed with a semi-automatic pistol with extended magazine. Anyone who sees him should call 911 or contact authorities immediately but use extreme caution.
