Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the persons of interest in the homicide of an adult male victim in the area of 641 E. Moana Lane Reno, NV.
On 09/08/24, at approximately 12:40 p.m. Reno Police Patrol Officers responded to 641 E. Moana Ln. Reno, on the report of an individual who had been stabbed after being involved in an argument with a male and female. Officers located the adult male victim, provided immediate medical attention and called for REMSA. REMSA transported the victim to a local area hospital where he later died as a result of his injury. The Reno Police Department Robbery/ Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. RHU detectives, with the assistance of RPD patrol officers, have identified two suspects in this case-who are still outstanding. Suspect 1: Crystal Ayers 08/31/1987, 5’4” tall, 120 lbs., green eyes and red/auburn hair. Suspect 2: Jimmy Murphy 12/23/75, 6’ tall, 180 lbs., green eyes, black hair. Both Crystal and Jimmy have outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of the Reno Municipal Court.
The Reno Police Department believes that this is an isolated incident with no threat to the public. Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Ayers and Murphy.
