*******************UPDATED REWARD AMOUNT********************Reno, Nevada (11/17/23)—On Friday, November 17, 2023 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Reno Police Department obtained a warrant for the arrest of Malik Coleman for his involvement in this incident. The warrant is for open murder with the use of a deadly weapon. The reward amount has been increased to $5,000.00 due to the new charges.
Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $5000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the Malik Coleman in the homicide of an adult female victim in the 100 block of N. Virginia St. Reno, NV.
On Thursday, November 16, 2023 at approximately 8:45 a.m. the Reno Police Department responded to the 100 block of N. Virginia in response to a gunshot wound victim in an apartment. Officers did locate a single adult female with a gunshot wound. The female victim was determined to have already been deceased and medical efforts were not rendered. Detectives from the Robbery Homicide Unit are investigating the case. There is no active threat to the community as the parties were known to each other and this was not a random act of violence. Detectives are actively seeking an adult male named Malik Coleman who appears to have fled the state.
