Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the homicide of a male in the area of the 1600 block of Wedekind Rd. Reno, NV.
On October 3, 2104 at approximately 4:58 a.m. officers responded to the above area on a report of a shooting. The victim and his girlfriend had heard noises that made them believe that someone was burglarizing their vehicle. When the victim went to see what was happening he engaged the suspect verbally and then exited the residence. A gunshot was heard and the victim was found by his girlfriend suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transferred to Renown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. His identity is currently being withheld. The investigation is on-going.
