Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the homicide of a male victim in the area of Sutro and E. 6th St. Reno, NV.
On 08/28/24 at approximately 9:40 p.m., patrol officers from the Reno Police Department responded to the area of Sutro S.t and E 6th St. Reno on the report of a battery with a deadly weapon. Officers located the adult male victim, who was then transported to an area hospital, and ultimately died as a result of his injuries. Detectives from the Reno Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation. Detectives with the Robbery Homicide Unit believe that a vehicle drove by witnessing the altercation and wish to speak to the potential witness. The identification of the decedent will be released by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office after proper notifications have been made.
