Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the homicide of a male victim in the area of the 700 block of S. Virginia St. Reno, NV.
On 6/8/24 at approximately 2:40 a.m. Officers responded to the area of the 700 block of South Virginia St on a report of shots fired. On scene Officers located one adult male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives from the RPD Robbery/Homicide Unit and the RPD Gang Unit responded to take over the investigation. At this time the shooting appears to be gang motivated and there is no apparent threat to the community.
