Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the homicide of a 20-year-old male victim, Kenyon Wilson, near the area of Moon Rocks Recreation area Reno, NV.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives announced today that the remains of missing 20-year-old Kenyon Wilson were located late last week. Detectives say they are treating this case as a homicide investigation and are asking the public for any information that may help to identify and locate a suspect, or suspects. The investigation began on Sunday October 20, 2019 when Kenyon Wilson’s vehicle, a dark blue 2004 Infiniti coupe with black front rims and silver rear rims, was located near the Moon Rocks recreation area off Winnemucca Ranch Road north of Spanish Springs. The vehicle had been heavily damaged by fire. After several days of searching by deputies, Search and Rescue volunteers, and the RAVEN helicopter, the Sheriff’s Office received information on Friday October 25, 2019 that human remains had been discovered in a remote area in the vicinity of Moon Rocks. Deputies and detectives responded. On Sunday October 27, 2019 the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the decedent as Kenyon Wilson. Exact cause of death is still under investigation. Next of kin have been notified.
