Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the homicide of a 51-year-old female in the area of Neil Rd. and Peckham Lane Reno, NV.
On July 25, 2009 at approximately 7:25 p.m. officers responded to the 7-11 in the above area on a report of a shooting. Witnesses reported that a dark colored 4-door sedan occupied by three suspects was parked at the 7-11. A conversation occurred between the suspects and the victim and his family who were there purchasing gasoline. One of the suspects fired several shots from a handgun at the family. A 24-year-old male and his 51-year-old mother were struck by the gunfire. The mother died as a result of her injuries. The shooting is believed to be gang related.
