Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the homicide of a male victim in the 3000 block of S. Virginia St. Reno, NV.
On Saturday afternoon January 20, 2024 at approximately 1:50 p.m. the Reno Police Department responded to the 3000 block of S. Virginia in regard to a shooting that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located a single adult male with a gunshot wound. REMSA responded and provided on-scene medical aid as well as transported the victim to an area hospital. Despite emergency medical treatment, the victim died from his wounds. Detectives from the Robbery / Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation. There appears to be no specific threat to the public as this appears to be an altercation between two parties. The investigation is ongoing.
