Secret Witness is offering a reward in an updated amount of 1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of James Lester in the area of Wells Ave. and Moran St. Reno, NV.
On Saturday October 31, 2020 at 6:56 p.m. Reno Fire, REMSA and Reno Police responded to Wells/Moran Street in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian where the striking vehicle had fled the scene. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the 35 year old male subject down in the roadway. REMSA transported the pedestrian to RENOWN with life threatening injuries. During the course of the investigation, officers learned the striking vehicle was traveling northbound on Wells Avenue. The pedestrian was walking eastbound across Wells Avenue at Moran Street. Detectives are looking for the striking vehicle, the driver of the striking vehicle and any witnesses to the crash. Detectives are looking for a white sedan with front end damage. UPDATE: On November 14th, 2020 the pedestrian has died from their injuries resulting from the collision and has been identified as 35 year old Reno resident James Lester.
