Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of a male victim at South Virginia St. and Isbell Reno, NV.
On Tuesday July 31, 2018 at about 5:02 a.m. Reno Fire, REMSA and Reno Police Officers responded to the above intersection on the report of a subject down in the roadway. Upon their arrival, they located a 35 year old male laying in the road with substantial head trauma. The pedestrian is currently being treated a local hospital for life threatening injuries. It appears at this time that the pedestrian was crossing S. Virginia at Isbell when he was struck by a southbound vehicle that fled the scene. The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to investigate the crash. Investigators are currently reviewing video from several local businesses in an attempt to identify the suspect vehicle. The name of the pedestrian is not being released at this time pending notification of his family.
