Investigators are continuing to review evidence and are seeking persons who may have witnessed this crash or have information about it. On Sunday January 21, 2018 at about 4:32 a.m. Reno Police Officers and medical personnel responded to the intersection of 6th St. and Valley Rd. in Reno on the report of a subject down in the roadway. Upon arrival, a male victim was found to have sustained substantial head and facial injuries. It is believed that the injured subject was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated for life threatening injuries. The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to investigate the crash. The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are obtaining video from local businesses.
