On December 5, 2020 the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries resulting from the collision and has been identified as 32 year old Reno resident Cody Robinson.
Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of a male pedestrian in the area of Kietzke and Galletti Way Reno, NV.
On Monday November 30, 2020 at approximately 9:38 p.m. Reno Fire, REMSA and Reno Police responded Kietzke Lane and Galletti Way in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian where the striking vehicle had left the scene. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the 32 year old male victim down in the roadway. REMSA transported the pedestrian to RENOWN with life threatening injuries. During the course of the investigation officers learned the striking vehicle was traveling east on Kietzke Lane. The pedestrian was walking northbound across Kietzke Lane. The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to investigate the crash. Detectives are still looking for the striking vehicle, the driver of the striking vehicle and any witnesses to the crash. Detectives are looking for a metallic blue mid-size SUV with front end damage. Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
