Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of a male and female in the area of G St. and El Rancho Dr. Sparks, NV.
On December 4, 2021 at about 11:27 p.m. Sparks Police, Sparks Fire, and REMSA paramedics responded to the above area on the report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash. Officers located a female laying in the roadway who had sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. Officers also located a male victim that had been struck by the same vehicle. The male victim was up and walking when officers arrived. Both victims were transported to a local hospital to be treated. THE FEMALE VICTIM SUCCUMBED TO HER INJURIES FROM THE CRASH.
Officers learned the driver of the vehicle had been traveling westbound on G St. continuing through the intersection of El Rancho Dr. on a green traffic light. The pedestrians, who were in a crosswalk on the west side of the intersection were walking northbound from the south side of the street. The driver of the vehicle struck the pedestrians in the crosswalk and fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen westbound on G St. from El Rancho. The vehicle is described as an older model gray 4 door vehicle and should have front end damage from the crash. A vehicle of interest is a silver 2011 Toyota Camry bearing Nevada plate 676R56.
