Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run resulting in injuries of a female victim in the area of 4th and Threlkel St. Reno, NV.
On Sunday June 5, 2022 at 2:15 a.m. Reno Fire, REMSA and Reno Police responded to 4th St. and Threlkel Street in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian where the striking vehicle had fled the scene. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the 43-year-old female subject down in the roadway. REMSA transported the pedestrian to RENOWN with life threatening injuries. During the course of the investigation officers learned the striking vehicle was traveling westbound on 4th Street while the pedestrian was walking southbound across 4th Street not utilizing a crosswalk. Detectives are still looking for the striking vehicle, the driver of the striking vehicle, and any witnesses to the crash. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a light-colored mid-size SUV with right side damage.
