Secret Witness is offering a reward, the amount to be determined, for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of a 13-year-old female juvenile victim in the area of Stead Blvd. and Silver Lake Rd. Reno, NV.
On August 7, 2017 morning hours the Reno Police Department responded to a report of a hit and run in the above area. The female juvenile victim was in a marked cross-walk on her way to school when she was struck by a vehicle which was traveling east on Silver Lake Rd. The driver may not have seen the victim due to glare from the sun. The female juvenile received minor injuries described as bumps and bruises but was taken to an area hospital at the request of the parents. The suspect vehicle is described only as a red Nissan passenger car.
