Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run fatality of a female juvenile victim in the area of Harvard Way and Plumb Lane. Reno, NV.
On Tuesday October 29, 2019 at approximately 6:37 a.m. Reno Fire, REMSA and Reno Police Officers responded to Harvard Way just south of the intersection with Plumb Ln in Reno on the report of a vehicle versus a pedestrian crash. Upon arrival they located a female juvenile who was unresponsive on the sidewalk. The juvenile was transported to Renown Medical Center where she succumbed to her injures. The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to investigate the crash. The vehicle involved in this crash did not stop to render aid and fled the scene driving eastbound on Plumb Ln. from Harvard Way. The vehicle is described as a dark colored (possibly black), mid- sized pick-up. The vehicle possibly has some damage to the front end and/or headlights. The deceased’s identity has not been released at this time pending family notification.
Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
