Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run fatality of a pedestrian on E. 2nd near Colony Rd. Reno, NV.
On October 8, 2023 at 8:20 p.m. personnel from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department and REMSA responded on a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on East 2nd Street near the intersection with Colony Road. Medical personnel declared the pedestrian deceased on scene. The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation. The pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk. At this time, it appears there were two striking vehicles, both of which fled the scene, however several witnesses remained on site. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
