Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run fatality of a male victim at 6th St. and Wells Ave. Reno, NV.
On Friday November 30, 2018 at approximately 4:12 a.m. Reno Police Officers, Reno Fire, and REMSA responded to the above area in Reno on the report of a vehicle vs pedestrian crash. Upon their arrival, a 66 year old male Reno resident was found deceased in the roadway. The suspect vehicle did not stop at the scene after striking the pedestrian, and was last seen fleeing south on Wells Ave. The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to investigate the crash. After reviewing video and interviewing witnesses, it is believed that the suspect vehicle is a yellow Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending notification of his family.
