Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run of an 8-year-old female juvenile victim in the area of Wells Ave. and I-80 Reno, NV.
On November 22, 2016 at approximately 7:50 p.m. the Reno Police Department responded to a report of a hit and run in the above area. The female juvenile victim was in a marked cross-walk with the pedestrian “walk sign” illuminated when she was struck by a vehicle which was traveling southbound on Wells Ave. and then turned eastbound onto the I-80 ramp. The vehicle fled the scene and has not been located. The female juvenile was transported to Renown with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle is described as a newer grey 4-door Jeep Wrangler with a spare tire on the back, tinted windows, and black molding.
Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
