Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $250.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the fraudulent obtaining of money from a resident of Sparks, NV.
On May 12, 2017 Sparks Police met with a victim of fraud which occurred on an internet site. The victim used Craigslist.org to find a house for rent in Sparks. The victim and the suspect communicated via email for nearly a month after which the victim wire transferred money to the suspect in order to rent the property. No keys were forth coming and the suspect would not return the money. Sparks police spoke with the actual property owner and determined that property had not been placed on Craigslist.org.
Sparks Police Department Detectives are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
