Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the discharging of a firearm into an occupied dwelling in the area of 670 Greenbrae Dr. Sparks, NV.
On September 24, 2017 at approximately 2:11a.m. the Sparks Police Department started receiving multiple 911 calls of an active shooting with multiple shots fired in the area of Pyramid and Greenbrae. Officers arrived on scene and observed over 100 people getting into multiple vehicles and fleeing the area. It was later determined the incident started at the business of El Grande located at 670 Greenbrae. The business of El Grande was hosting an event when a disturbance erupted inside. Witness stated that several black males, that were part of the disturbance, exited the building and one of them produced a handgun and began shooting in the parking lot. At this time, it is presumed that there was more than one shooter. Sparks Police was able to secure the scene of the shooting and Reno Police assisted with several of their units patrolling the surrounding area during the investigation. As of this time, there is no reported injuries resulting from the shooting, which was over 35 rounds. One vehicle was struck by the gunfire as well as a home in the 500 block of M Street, where one round penetrated through the home owner’s walls and into his TV. The black male suspects were wearing white clothing and were believed to be in their early 20’s.
Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
