Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with attempted sexual assault of an 11 year old female juvenile in the area of the 400 block of W. Winnie Lane Carson City, NV.
On Monday, February 15, 2021 at about 5:40 a.m. an 11-Year-old girl awoke to a man kneeling next to her bed, touching her. Once the child woke up, the suspect fled from the apartment. The suspect was described as: White Male Adult, Late 20’s to late 30’s, approximately 5’8” to 5’10”, brown hair (long enough that it stuck out from under the rim of the baseball hat he was wearing), “pointy” eyebrows, stubble facial hair, and large nose. The suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball style hat (unknown logo or writing), navy blue sweatshirt, unknown pants, possibly had a backpack, black surgical style face mask that looped behind the ears. During the initial investigation, video footage of a man matching the suspect’s description was recorded as he left the area of the assault. The person of interest was on a mountain bike and was last seen traveling southbound on Carson Street, passing the Carson City Inn at about 5:53 am. A snapshot taken from an infrared surveillance camera in the area of the assault is for reference only due to the poor quality. The infrared camera does not show color and darker objects appear lighter on the infrared camera. The snapshot shows a male matching the suspect description riding toward the building where the assault occurred. Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for access to any video surveillance cameras in the area of 400 W. Winnie, or Winnie Lane and North Carson Street heading south, please review your video footage for Monday, February 15, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 am and 6:00 am for anyone matching our suspect description.
