Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of an 11 year old female juvenile in the Lemmon Valley area.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of a possible attempted abduction of an 11-year-old girl who was walking to school along Lemmon Drive this morning. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Deputies were told that the 11-year-old female was walking to school northbound on Lemmon Drive in the area of Limber Pine Drive when she was approached by a male subject in a car and he attempted to lure her into his vehicle. The girl immediately fled the area and reported the incident to family. The vehicle, described as a light gray four-door sedan with no license plates, was last seen heading southbound on Lemmon Drive toward US 395. The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his thirties, with short hair, heavy build, and a scar on the left side of his forehead. He was wearing blue-framed glasses.
Washoe County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
