Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a female juvenile in north Reno, NV.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are investigating the report of a possible attempt to abduct a teenage girl in the area of North Valleys High School Tuesday afternoon and are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them. Between 12:10 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2018, a 16-year-old female was returning to the high school after lunch when the incident happened, according to reports. The victim said she was at the corner of Estates Road and Golden Valley Road when a white pickup truck turned on to Estates Road from the wrong direction and stopped next to her. According to the victim, a suspect described as a white male in his 20s attempted to physically abduct her. The victim was able to get away and run across Golden Valley Road to the high school.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the stolen vehicle and suspect(s).
