Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $250.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the attempted fraudulent check cashing at the Western Village Casino 815 Nichols Blvd. Sparks, NV.
On October 2, 2017 at approximately 6:44 p.m. Sparks Police responded to an attempted check cashing fraud. Three suspects entered the casino, two approached two separate cashiers while the third waited in line. The two suspects in line presented payroll checks from the same local business along with false ID’s. The teller quickly realized that the checks were fraudulent and refused to cash them. One suspect fled leaving the check and ID behind while the other suspect retrieved the check and ID and then fled. The third suspect in line left the casino without attempting to cash a check. The first suspect is described as a white male adult wearing a black Zildjan t-shirt. The second suspect is described as a black male adult wearing a black t-shirt. The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult wearing an orange t-shirt.
Sparks Police Department Detectives are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
