Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted armed robbery of the Sierra Sid’s Casino 200 N. McCarran Blvd. Sparks, NV.
On 11/5/21 at approximately 6:00 a.m. Officers responded to Sierra Sid’s Casino on a report of an attempted robbery. The suspect fled prior to Police arrival and was described as a white male adult wearing all black. During the attempted robbery the suspect approached the cashier’s cage in the casino and demanded money from the attendant while displaying a handgun. The suspect attempted to enter the cage area but was unsuccessful. The suspect fled towards the north exit door from the casino and while doing so stole the purse from a female patron that was gambling at a slot machine. During a search of the area, Officers located a “Security” vest worn by the suspect during the attempted robbery as well as the purse that was stolen.
Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
