Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $500.00, for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of inmate escapee Chase Orput wanted by the Washoe County Sheriff’s.
On July 27, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Chase ORPUT walked away from a work crew assigned to the Lockwood Landfill. (U//LES) ORPUT was serving a 90-day sentence, which began on 7 July 2026, for Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. His current whereabouts are unknown. ORPUT has known ties to the Carson City area.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the escaped inmate.
