Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the vehicle burglaries in the area of the Virginia City Foothills.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of November 18, 2025, in the Virginia City Foothills area. Deputies canvassed residential neighborhoods throughout the Virginia City Foothills and discovered more than a dozen vehicles where victims reported items taken from the interior of their vehicles. Based on the ongoing investigation, deputies believe the burglaries occurred between approximately 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. In each case, the suspect (pictured below) entered vehicles through unlocked doors and attempted to enter dozens more that were secured. The suspect may be driving a newer-model white hatchback-style SUV.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and facts surrounding this case.
