The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased individual found on May 2, 2026, in a roadside ditch along Estates Road, just east of East Patrician Drive in the Golden Valley area of Reno, located within Washoe County. The individual was wrapped in blankets and was in an advanced state of decomposition. It appears the subject may have died in another area at some time, before being left in the roadside ditch. Investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have observed suspicious activity in the area, has knowledge of when the body may have been left there, or is aware of the individual(s) who left the body there.
