Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit-and-run of a bicyclist in the area of the 1300 block of N. Wells Ave. Reno, NV.
At approximately 5:01 a.m. personnel from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA responded to a report of a vehicle versus bicyclist in the area of South McCarran Blvd and West Plumb Ln. Initial investigation found the bicyclist was in the bike lane and struck from behind. The vehicle fled the scene. The bicyclist was declared deceased on scene. The identity of the deceased is withheld, pending notification to next of kin. The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.
