Sparks Police Department Case: 22-9769
Secret Witness is offering a $2,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person, or persons, responsible for a shooting at, or near, the shopping center at McCarran and Prater Way in Sparks around noon on Monday, 12/12/22.
On Monday December 12, 2022, at 11:56 a.m. the Sparks Police Department responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Howard Drive and Prater Way. As officers responded, information was received that the victim of the shooting, who was in need of medical attention, had driven a few blocks away from the incident.
During the subsequent investigation, officers determined the shooting took place in the parking lot of 790 N. McCarran. The male victim suffered multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was treated at a local medical facility. The Sparks Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
