Homicide Male Victim near Knitting Factory

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the homicide of a male victim in the area of 200 block of N. Virginia Street Reno, NV.

On June 27, 2011 at approximately 1:40 a.m. police officers responded to the Douglas Alley area after hearing shots fired and found the male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in serious but stable condition. The shooting occurred after a concert at the Knitting Factory when a group of male suspects got into a verbal and physical altercation with the victim. One of the suspects fired several rounds from a handgun striking the victim. Officers were able to detain a possible suspect in the shooting, Lamar Woods, who was arrested for weapons charges and parole violations. The case is still under investigation. UPDATE!! VICTIM DIED AS A RESULT OF HIS WOUNDS.
