Virginia Reno, NV. On August 18, 2010 at approximately 12:10 p.m. the suspect entered the store with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun. The suspect made two customers and an employee enter the back office and lay on the floor while the other employee gave the suspect the contents of the cash register. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The male customer left the store and tried to follow the suspect. The suspect was seen riding in the bed of a white newer model Dodge pickup. The suspect is described as a black male adult, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’ tall, thin build, gold bottom teeth, scruffy goatee, wearing a dark colored ski mask, white t-shirt with dark writing on it, and black jeans. Armed Robbery 7-11 Store G St. Sparks, NV Case# SPD10-8125 Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the 7-11 Store 2295 G St, Sparks, NV. On August 7, 2010 at approximately 4:40 a.m. the suspect entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect returned shortly and demanded cigarettes from the clerk. The suspect then fled apparently on foot. The suspect is described as white male adult, 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5’0” to 5’4” tall, thin build, wearing two bandanas, one on his head and one around his face. Burglary Harvey's Bar Sun Valley 7-22-10 Case# WCSO10- Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $750.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the burglary of Harvey‘s Bar 5544 Sun Valley Blvd. Sparks, NV. On July 22, 2010 at approximately 4:00 a.m. two male suspects entered the business by prying open the door. The suspects forced open slot machines, an ATM machine, and a Jukebox audio system. The first suspect is described as a white male adult in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall, medium build, wearing light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and light colored skateboarding type shoes. Suspect # 2 is described as a white male adult in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall, with two distinctive tattoos on his right and left shoulders described as a large rectangular object and an angel or similar object with wings, wearing a black colored ski mask, light colored sleeveless shirt, baggie dark colored jeans, and dark colored running shoes with reflective heels, carrying a light colored backpack on his chest. Theft and Assault Sak N Save on Oddie Blvd. Case# RPD10-19979 Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the robbery and battery of a male security officer at the Sak N Save Store Oddie and Siverada Reno, NV. On July 31, 2010 at approximately 2:21 a.m. the suspects entered the store and subsequently picked up an 18 pack of beer. One of the suspect initiated a conversation with the security officer who was standing at the front door. When the security officer turned toward the second suspect as he was trying to sneak past, the first suspect hit the security officer in the head knocking him to the ground unconscious. On July 26, 2010 at approximately 1:50 a.m. the suspects entered the business with a handgun and confronted two employees in an upstairs office. The victims were sprayed in the eyes with some type of pepper spray and tied up. The suspects filled a bag with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction. The suspects are described as white male adults, one was wearing all black clothing and a black knit mask with eye holes cut out. No description on the second suspect. There were no serious injuries. McCarran Blvd. Reno, NV. On June 24, 2010 at approximately 8:03 p.m. the suspect entered the store and demanded money from both clerks working the registers. The suspect fled on foot westbound with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerks reported that the suspect may have had a sawed-off shotgun at his side but could not be positive. The suspect is described as black male adult, approximately 6’2” tall, thin build, wearing dark clothing, a sports coat, black motorcycle with the visor down, and possibly having dreadlocks visible from the bottom of the helmet. Virginia and Plaza St. Reno, NV. On July 19, 2010 at approximately 10:27 p.m. the victim was walking in the above area when he was approached by two suspects. The suspects demanded the victim’s wallet and he complied. The suspects fled on foot. One of the suspects was located and arrested but the second suspect is still outstanding. The 2nd suspects is described as black male adult, in his mid 20’s, approximately 6‘ tall 200 pounds, dreadlock hair, wearing white shirt, blue jeans, and a light blue baseball cap. Moana Lane Case# RPD10-17410 Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with armed robbery of a male victim in the area of 681 E. Moana Lane Reno, NV. On July 2, 2010 at approximately 4:40 a.m. the victim pulled into a parking lot at the above location with vehicle problems. When the victim exited his vehicle he was approached by the two suspects. One suspect produced a handgun and demanded money. The second suspect obtained the cash from the victim’s pocket and then they fled on foot. The first suspect is described as a black male adult, mid-30’s, approximately 5’10” tall, 180 pounds, short black hair, wearing a white short sleeve button-up shirt, black pants and armed with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male adult, mid-30’s, approximately 6’ to 6’2” tall, 250 pounds, short black hair, chin hair, mustache, wearing a black long sleeve dress shirt, and black pants. Virginia St. Reno, NV. On July 1, 2010 at approximately 10:50 a.m. the victim was walking to his vehicle which was parked near the Peppermill on Lymberry St. when he was attacked by four suspects. The victim was beaten and robbed of cash. The suspects fled the area with a witness chasing them, but they managed to escape. Battery and Robbery 2 Male Victims 7th & McCarran Case# RPD10-14927 Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the robbery and battery of two male victims in the area of 7th St. and McCarran Blvd. Reno, NV. On May 31, 2010 at approximately 3:00 a.m. two males and two females were walking in the above area when they became involved in a verbal confrontation with four suspects in a silver mid size SUV. The four suspects exited the SUV and beat the two male victims with an object similar to a baton and sprayed them with pepper spray. They robbed one of the victims of his wallet and credit cards. The suspects then fled the area. The suspects are described as white males in there late teens to early 20’s. One suspect had a shaved head and one had shaggy “skater” style hair. On June 11, 2010 the suspect(s) entered the offices of the University Health Systems and stole computer equipment containing patient’s personal information including names, addresses, dates of birth, social security numbers, and medical information. To date there is no indication that this information has been misused. Patients are being notified by letter of this situation. The suspect is described as a white male adult, early 20’s, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin build, pale skin, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “Hurley” on the front, camouflage colored shorts, and armed with a handgun. On May 26, 2010 at approximately 12:25 p.m. the two male victims were leaving the apartment when they encountered the two suspects. One of the suspects carried a handgun and the two suspects forced their way inside and made the victims lay down on the floor. The suspects demanded money while battering the victims. The suspects searched the apartment and fled with cash and a laptop computer. In addition several Reno area grocery stores have had steel mesh propane tank storage cages in front of their stores broken into, and the propane tanks stolen. According to detectives, many of the stolen propane tanks, most often used with backyard barbecues, contained propane with an individual filled tank valued at about $44.00. Detectives say that 23 tanks were stolen from the Ferrellgas storage facility at 7757 North Virginia Street in three reported incidents in 2008; 117 in nine incidents in 2009; and 46 in three incidents between January 8 and February 27 this year. On September 6, 2007 at approximately 9:13 p.m. three suspects entered the store armed with baseball bats and a crowbar and demanded money from the employees. A witness described seeing the suspects enter an older light colored Cadillac with possibly the first two numbers of the license plate as “71” and speed away from the area. Two Armed Robberies Sparks Area Case# SPD07-12860/12861 Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with two armed robberies and a battery with a deadly weapon in two separate cases, one at Howard and Camino Real and the other at the Sparks Marina Sparks, NV. On September 6, 2007 at approximately 1:50 a.m. the Sparks Police Department responded to Howard and Camino Real on a report of an armed robbery of a 15-year-old male juvenile. The juvenile was walking home when two suspects wearing bandanas over their faces approached him. The suspects, armed with a handgun, demanded the victim’s shoes and cell phone. The victim fled to his home after giving the suspects his property. A second robbery was reported a short distance away at the Sparks Marina where three male Sparks residents where sitting in the gazebo area when they where approached by four suspects two of which were wearing bandanas on their faces. The suspects demanded money. The victims told the suspects that they did not have any money. The suspects attacked the victims striking one in the head with a handgun. The suspects fled with two of the victim’s wallets. The suspects are described as Hispanic males in their late teens wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas.
